If you have ever done a home renovation then you know the passed down advice; “It’ll take longer than you expect and cost more than you originally planned.” Marriage can feel similar. When you get married, your filled with idealism! Happy newlyweds! But the realities of marriage come quickly and navigating is difficult. But for those who do, the payoff is so worth it. A strong marriage can last through turmoil, be filled with joy, and bless future generations.
So how do you build a strong marriage despite
how complex and challenging it can be?
Join us for a brand new message series where we look at how God offers us help and hope for a strong, healthy marriage. No matter where you are in your relationship, the good news is that God provides grace and guidance. This is not a quick fix solution, but a well-trodden path to enjoy the God-given gift of marriage.
Messages in the Series:
Sunday February 8 - The Blueprint
God is the one who created the institution of marriage, so it works best when we operate according to God’s design. Learn about the purpose and intention God had when he created marriage.
Sunday February 15 - The Foundation
Marriage is a relationship—a friendship. Healthy relationships work best when we follow God’s principles for how to relate to one another. Learn how these values work out in marriage:
Put the goals and interests of others above my own
Live an honest, open life before others
Give and receive Scriptural correction
Clear up relationships
Sunday February 22 - The Frame
The frame of a home provides the strength that holds up the rest of the structure. God has designed it so that a husband and wife each must find strength from him, in order to fulfill their role well. Then they are freed to be able to play their role in marriage well.
We hope you will join us!
